Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh had its AGM on 12th May 2019 at Bishop’s House auditorium Mangalore. Roplhy DCosta presided over the meeting and welcomed the gathering. Celestine D Souza, General Secretary presented annual report and Treasurer Vivid DSouza presented the annual accounts.

Recently Catholic Sabha celebrated its ruby anniversary and during this programme they have initiated the launch of building project which can serve as training center in the long run. Walter DSouza, senior and founding vice-president accepted to be the convener of this project.

Rev Fr Mathew Vas, spiritual director  thanked all office bearers for leadership and good work done in 2018-19.

Thereafter new executive committee was declared and first meeting was convened. In this meeting , election for new office-bearers was conducted by election committee chairman Nigel Periera ably assisted by co-convener Lancy D’Cunha.

The elected office-bearers for 2019 – 20 are

Vice President - Harry Rego, Moodbidri
Secretary General - Naveen Braggs, Uppinangady
Assistant secretary - Ajay Pais, Mogarnad

Joint Treasurer - Gretta Fernades, Katipalla
Immediate Past President - Anil Lobo, Valencia

Immediately after the election, handing over ceremony was conducted under the leadership of senior President Casmir Menezes and everyone expressed solidarity with the new team.
